The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it really is alarmed regarding the substantial number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This click here is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The support stage produced for intervention experiences a superior inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it difficult with the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to empower the servicing of all consumers and improve usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
